The following equipment is needed to perform the test:
- Pipettes and pipette tips of appropriate sizes – the use of multichannel pipettes is encouraged to reduce the time needed to run the test
- Items for preparing reagents, such as graduated cylinders, mixing containers, and tubes
- Microplates or tubes for performing dilutions of serum samples before addition to the assay
- Plate Magnetic stirrer and Vortexer
- Deionized purified water
- Microplate reader equipped to measure at 450 nm
- Water bath for heat-inactivating virus potentially present in samples (optional)
